A toast to fellow bloggers!

I had to abruptly discontinue from blogging owing to a hiatus of thoughts. Forgive me, dear reader, because I am still grappling my way through  Blogosphere :|
I think of posting something, a new outfit, or a new collection and then BAM! somebody has already done that.  I love fashion blogs, I do, but to be honest, most of them have started to look the same. So I decided, I'd give you a list of my favorite blogs and what I love about them.
  • Fashion Bombay: It's a quirky, colorful blog by two super-cool females, Sonu and Jasleen who pick up stuff from every - freakin' -where. They do not stick to brands or designers, instead, they mix and match stuff from small boutiques to grand showrooms. You'd also love their, simple and easy to inculcate style tips. USP: Boho-chic, easy to find fashion.
  • Bohemian Like You: I have been following this blog since it was known as Fab Blab, I came across it when I was randomly surfing the net one night. The blogger is Arushi Khosla and if you haven't heard of her yet, don't worry, you'll soon. With her amazing fashion sense and fine knowledge of brands and designer, this little girl is on her way to becoming the next big thing! USP: Funky fashion style.
  • The Aili, formerly known as "As I like It" : I recently came across her blog, and was stumped by the beautiful pics and clothes. It's written by Imsu Pithsala, who is one cool style junkie and someone whose blog you must, MUST, follow. USP: Classy, wearable style.
  • Fashion Chalet: I simply LOOOOOOVE this blog, probably because we have common idols (read Audrey and Olivia) The blogger Erika Marie, is a total fashion freak, she creates her own style and models it too. USP: Chic, smart, street wear style.
  • What Katie Wore: It started with a challenge, to wear a new outfit everyday for a year, they finished the challenge, but started a new trend. Joe and Katie are too cool to miss! USP: Fun, witty fashion.
  • Style Drive: Started by Aayushi Bangur, this is one blog, which would take your breath away. The pictures are amazing, I recently learnt her friend does them for her. Her styling and his photography, make it a treat for your eyes. Moreover, she has a great taste in fashion as well as make up. USP: Sexy and classy.
These are just some of the blogs I follow, and keep going back to, maybe for the beautiful people in the pictures or to pick up a style for too.

Drop in a link of your favorite blog in the comment section.

                                                                                                             Fashion-craving-ly yours.

Carry off Pink Pants the Pippa Way!

We have been seeing  a lot of pastels in bottoms on and off the runway! But most of us are still confused and apprehensive about carrying off the runway looks on Indian streets. Well , here is a simple guide to be stylishly pink without looking like a circus fugitive.

How to get the Pippa Look?
Since ZARA is having a mind-blowing sale all across their stores, we suggest you hop in there if you haven't already ( in which case, Im forced to ask 'Which planet are you from?)
The ottoman blazer is priced at 3290 INR, which I think is a little steep, but you can get similar ones in Champagne Retail Stores.
The Check shirt and the pants are priced at 1390 INR each, which would prove to be a very good investment. You can have a similar look with a cobalt/ navy blue shirt and red pants.

The shirt and the pants are priced at 1390 INR each and can be found at any Zara outlet.

Dear Readers, Fashionistas and Fellow Bloggers!
Finally I have plucked up the courage to start a Fashion Blog of my own. Yes. Another Fashion Blog in the burgeoning world of Fashion Blogs. It feels great, because I always wanted to start something of my own, where I can do my own thing, be creative, be ridiculous, be charming, be sarcastic, be nice, be a bitch and not care about what the world thinks. It feels like crap too, because there already millions of similar blogs out there.  How would I be different? Would I get loyal readers? Would they like reading me rant about this and that ,among other things (read Fashion)?
Well, to be honest I don't know and I can't say I don't care. I do. I do want people to like me rather my blog ( I am a bit like Monica there )
So let me tell you what this blog is. We'd be talking clothes, shoes, make-up and all things girly. There would posts about my favorite celebrities( read Kate Middleton, Cast of Gossip Girl ) and their style and how can you adapt in daily life. Also, this would be an online thrift store, for you to buy shoes, clothes, jewelry and accessories at decent prices :)
Here is a quote by Audrey Hepburn, it somewhat is the theme of the blog.
"I believe in manicures. I believe in overdressing. I believe in primping at leisure and overdressing. I believe in Pink. I believe that happiest girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day and..I believe in miracles"

      Isn't she just great?

                                                                                                                          Nervously Yours,
                                                                                                                          Champagne.
